Ballett byrjendur með Nicholas Tímarnir eru fyrir öll sem hafa áhuga á læra ballett eða þau sem vilja styrkja sig í grunntækni. Áhersla er lögð á grunn undirstöðuatriði í ballett og að ná góðu valdi á líkamsbeitingu, flæði og samhæfingu hreyfinga. Ávinningurinn er bætt líkamsstaða, sterkari miðja og öryggi í dansstíl. Tíminn er byggður upp með upphitun á ballett stöng, æfingum út á gólfi og hoppum í enda tímans. Tæknilegar æfingar þar sem áhersla er lögð á liðleika, styrk, líkamsbeitingu og að sjálfsögðu dansgleði.
Ballett miðstig með Jeffre Tímarnir eru fyrir þau sem hafa hafa grunn í ballet eða annarskonar dans-/fimleikaþjálfun. Áhersla er lögð á ná góðu valdi á líkamsbeitingu, flæði og samhæfingu hreyfinga. Ávinningurinn er bætt líkamsstaða, sterkari miðja og öryggi í dansstíl. Tíminn er byggður upp með upphitun á ballett stöng, æfingum út á gólfi og hoppum í enda tímans. Tæknilegar æfingar þar sem áhersla er lögð á liðleika, styrk, líkamsbeitingu og að sjálfsögðu dansgleði.

Ballet beginners with Nicholas on Tuesdays at 20:40-21:40

Ballet interm. with Jeffre on Tuesdays at 19:40-20:45 and Thursdays at 19:15 – 20:30
Tuesdays only – Ten weeks course from March 17 – May 26
Thursdays only – Ten weeks course from 19th March 19 – May 28
Tuesdays and Thursdays – Ten weeks course from March 26 – May 30 *(Saturday classes included)
Note – No classes during the week leading up to Easter, on Easter Monday or labour day May 1
Jeffre teaches in english
No prior dance experience required for Nickholas’ ballet classes.
*All classes on Saturdays are included for those attending twice a week (Strength and Mobility, Flex Body and Afro Workout)
Ballet beginners These classes are for anyone interested in learning ballet, as well as those who want to strengthen their basic technique. The focus is on the basics of ballet and developing good control of body alignment, flow and coordination. The benefits include improved posture, a stronger core, and greater confidence in movement. Classes are structured with barre warm-up, centre work, and jumps towards the end. Technical training focuses on flexibility, strength, body awareness, and, of course, the joy of dance.
Ballet Intermediate These classes are are for those with basic background in ballet or other dance/gymnastic training. The focus is on developing strong body control, flow, and coordination. Benefits include improved posture, a stronger core, and increased confidence in dance. Classes include a barre warm-up, centre work, and jumps towards the end. Technical training focuses on flexibility, strength, body awareness, and, of course, the joy of dance
